It's about time lol, I've been trying for sub 5 since 2019, but my nerves were so bad back then because sub 5 would have meant NAR which added a whole lot of pressure. Since covid and the clock records dropping beyond my reach my nerves have gotten substantially better which has allowed me to break PRs even though I am not quite as fast as I was at my peak in 2019/2020. I went into this comp with very little practice in any event as I had tendonitis in my arm leading up to this comp, so this was particularly unexpected. Even though my turning wasn't very great, and the scrambles definitely carried this average, I am proud to have not only made finals, but have gotten my first official sub 5 average, especially after the DNF on solve 2! Even though I never got my ultimate goal of NAR, it's very satisfying to finally accomplish the goal of a sub 5 average I had set for myself over 4 years ago!

I wasnt able to get a sub 15 ao5 by the end of 2021, but I got a sub 16 ao12 which is awesome!! I could have gotten the sub 15 ao5 on solves 8-12, but with the 14.39+2 and the TCP lockup on the last solve, I missed out. I got this during the end of year ao100 Ben set up, so these are using random state scrambles rather than random 30 move scrambles which is cool, and is also why the scrambles are numbered. Hopefully Ill be able to get a sub 15 ao5 soon.
