From a young boy who finds his freedom in how fast he can run, to three mates crossing Country in search of who they're meant to become, to Yolŋu women carrying the knowledge of bringing life into the world, to one man's lifelong fight for justice — the First Nations Film Festival returns this NAIDOC Week with its 2026 collection.
This year's program, "50 Years of Deadly," marks half a century of NAIDOC against the backdrop of 60,000 years of the world's oldest living culture. Told entirely through First Nations voices.
