The world's first Frozen-themed land is opening later this year at Hong Kong Disneyland, and Disney just revealed everything guests can expect to experience at the land, including our first look at both Frozen attractions, Frozen Ever After and Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs. The land will also feature food and beverage through a variety of Frozen-themed desserts, snacks, drinks and much more.
Disney's press release says: Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is getting ready for the opening of World of Frozen, the world’s first and largest “Frozen” themed land, on November 20. Inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ films, “Frozen” and “Frozen 2,” which are among the biggest animated films of all time, World of Frozen will transport guests to the cinematic and living land - Arendelle. Guests will delve into this immersive travel destination, with its captivating stories, beloved characters, culture, stunning landscapes, enchanting music, and cutting-edge technology for the first time in forever by celebrating Summer Snow Day and enjoying the fun-filled attractions such as Frozen Ever After and Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs.
Some of the iconic locations in the land include the North Mountain, the Ice Palace, Arendelle Castle, the Bay of Arendelle, the Clock Tower, Friendship Fountain, Playhouse in the Woods, Golden Crocus Inn, Bayside Wharf, Northern Delights, Tick Tock Toys & Collectibles and Traveling Traders.
Summer Snow Day commemorates the day that Anna saved Elsa and the kingdom with an act of true love. Guests are invited to visit this whimsical realm and rejoice in the lively festivities! To prepare for the Summer Snow Day celebration, guests can immerse in the enchanting festivities with a special outfit, like wearing rosemaling patterned clothes, add glittering ice-inspired face paint, and style the hair like Elsa or wear a cape like Anna to show the love for the royal sisters.
While there are many more details and things to look forward to when the land opens later this year, it sure seems to be shaping up as one of, if not the best, themed-lands Disney has ever done.
