First Look at Second Stone: The Legend of the Hidden World
Today we’re taking a first look at Second Stone: The Legend of the Hidden World, an upcoming action RPG and 3D platformer from Skyward Entertainment.
IMPORTANT: This footage is from a preview build. The game is still actively in development, and features, balance, tutorials, visuals, and gameplay systems are subject to change before release.
From my time with the demo, I came away genuinely impressed.
The game immediately reminded me of classic 3D platformers like Jak & Daxter while mixing in fast-paced action RPG combat that at times gave me some serious Hades vibes. Movement feels fluid, combat is satisfying, and the dual-world exploration mechanic gives the game a unique identity.
There’s still plenty of polish to come, but the foundation is already very strong. The colorful world, engaging combat, character progression, and exploration systems all show a lot of promise.
If Skyward Entertainment can continue refining and expanding on what’s already here, I think Second Stone could become something really special.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.
