My reaction to the first episode of Re:Zero Season 2.

In this episode, Subaru kills himself after learning that Rem has been forgotten, only to find out it's too late to save her with Return By Death. We're introduced to two new Sin Archbishops of the Witch Cult. Regulus Corneas, (Archbishop of Greed) and Ley Batenkaitos (Archbishop of Gluttony). Will Subaru be able to save Rem? Will we meet best girl next episode? Keep watching Re:Zero to find out.

Obviously, as a novel reader, there were certain details that I would've liked to have seen included in this adaptation, but I would've been delusional to expect them to include everything. I still enjoyed this episode a lot, even if I enjoyed the novel more.
