I've known of this descent for a few years now (Ben Vorlich) but just never got round to actually doing it for one reason or another.

This day was the perfect opportunity though as it was a weekend day and also great weather in January, which is unusual and unexpected. This all meant that a normally very busy hill was nice and quiet for a change.

The ride itself was fantastic! More challenging than I expected up the top, really engaging in the middle and although just double track at the bottom, that was still fun too.
