The Hammond XK-5 is the new digital Hammond B-3, and probably the closest one will get to that venerable sound-- at least until a newer one is created. The XK-5 came out summer of 2016, and has enjoyed a very successful, almost 5 year run.
Recently a newer single-manual keyboard came out to add features that don't exist on the XK-5, but due to the 5's realism and realistic feel, I don't see people rushing to sell their 5's, to buy the new board anytime soon.

Here I take the Hammond XK-5 digital organ through its paces. I bought the instrument and had it delivered back on Oct 2, 2020-- but I just finally got around to making my first general video demonstrating its use.

This is in no way, a demonstration of "formal songs" from beginning to end, but rather a jam of mixed songs, riffs, and patterns. A jambalaya of music if you will. Not everyone's taste, but if you give it a chance you might find something you like in it somewhere. Enjoy!
