G'Day Everyone, it’s Graham here, and today I’ve got something special for you—my first-ever gym video! That’s right, at 61 years old, weighing in at 192 kgs, I’ve decided it’s time to hit the gym, and let me tell you, the chest press machine and I had quite the encounter. Spoiler alert: I was pushing 150 lbs! Yep, it’s official—my fitness journey has begun!.
So there I was, standing in front of the chest press machine, staring it down like it had just insulted my favorite sandwich. At 192 kgs, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I knew one thing—I was ready to take the plunge. I cranked that machine up to 150 lbs because, well, go big or go home, right? And let me tell you, I felt every pound of it!
Now, at my age, getting on that machine felt like an Olympic event in itself. But once I sat down, it was game on. Pushing those 150 lbs was a challenge, but I was determined. My chest was working, my arms were shaking, and yes, I may have let out a few sound effects along the way (who knew grunting could be so motivational?). But hey, if there’s one thing I’ve learned on this journey, it’s that every little bit of effort counts.
Let’s be honest, though. If you had told me a year ago that I’d be sitting here making a gym video, I’d have laughed so hard I might’ve pulled a muscle before I even set foot in the gym! But here we are, 61 years old, 192 kgs, and I’m out here chest pressing like a slightly slower, heavier version of The Rock. Watch out, Dwayne—I’m coming for your title!"
So why the chest press? Well, besides the fact that it makes me feel like a superhero (or at least a really strong grandpa), it’s a great machine for building upper body strength. And let’s be real, at my weight, I need all the strength I can get. It’s helping me build muscle, burn calories, and take another step towards my ultimate goal—getting down to 115 kgs and being able to do pull-ups on the horizontal bars.
This is just the beginning, folks! The first of many gym videos as I work towards my weight loss and fitness goals. I’ve got big plans—pushing harder, lifting heavier, and maybe even cracking a few more jokes along the way. So if you’re ready to follow along with me, hit that subscribe button and join me on this wild ride. After all, if I can start this journey at 61 and 192 kgs, what’s stopping you?.
To sum it up, my first day on the chest press was a sweaty, grunty, victorious success. 150 lbs may not seem like much to some, but for me, it’s a huge win. So here’s to many more reps, more weight, and hopefully fewer grunts! Stay tuned for more, because the journey is just getting started.
