ICA Miami proudly welcomes experimental producer and NON founder Chino Amobi and designer Johnny Utterback to First Fridays. Through his work with NON, a record label dedicated to supporting Afro-diasporic cultural production, Chino Amobi has become a leading force in the effort to decolonize dance and experimental music. Johnny Utterback, a frequent collaborator with Chino Amobi, is a graphic designer and photographer who has explored the intersection of ambient music and design for over a decade. Together, they will premiere new music for their First Fridays debut.
Nicholas G. Padilla is an interdisciplinary artist, electronic musician, and multipotentialite that is interested in applying independent research into creative dimensions.
First Fridays are free and open to the public courtesy of ICA Miami's Innovation Partner, MINI.
