So: This was supposed to be a full series, but in episode 3 I lost a good chunk of footage, it was late and I wasn't saying much by that point. So in annoyance, I threw the idea in the bin. I managed to record 2 episodes though, so there's that! Enjoy my first experience playing through Samus' latest outing! (for two episodes)

I was shown how to get 60fps working for Samus Returns running on the Citra emulator by @DoominalCrossing a while back and I meant to record it, but stuff happened. Its here now though and my god is the higher frame rate a game changer, not to mention having more traditional controls. The game still plays well, but there is no debate that Metroid Dread refined and borderline perfected the movement and combat of the 2D Metroid games now, thanks to that gameplay being tested in Samus Returns.
To run 60fps, you go run the game and go into the cheats menu. Add Cheat, then copy and paste this into the Code section with the 60 FPS v1 line being the cheat name:
