This video is an entry to the Bushman World Ukulele Video Contest 2008. It's an original song, and a true story. It's a little bit silly, but then again- so are we :)

First Date

You walked in to meet me
with this grin upon your face
A little bit of magic
in an ordinary place
And then we sat down,
ordered drinks, looked around
you said you liked my crazy shoes
and I fell in love

In the freezing air we left
sat huddled in your car
didn't wanna part yet
and my place wasn't too far.
So I played you a song
and we kissed really long
I said I liked your tattoos
and I fell in love

We stayed up half the night
trading stories until four
It all felt so natural
like we'd done it all before.
Then we said our goodbye
and I looked in your eyes
you spoke my name, you touched my face
and I fell in love.
