This recording is from a compilation tape that was sent to me from DTysonator (aka DanielT) in the summer/fall of 2002. This is the first ever recorded console R1 TKO takedown of Tyson, and it deserves to be archived for historical purposes.
This achievement was done at a time when the best tools available to the community was nothing more than recording NESticle movies to share strategies and work on new techniques. The GameFAQS MTPO board was a hub of the wolrd's best at the game, including RedTom, DanielT, JackimusWedge, Chrome Virus, Matt Turk, adelikat, and loads more that are eluding my brain at this moment (so many greats, so many contributors!).
