Edit: after tasing the 8-4, i i wouldnt have gotten cheeped, this likely would have been 8-D into water, which is 8-2 / 4:56.910 pace with perfect water. At worst, it would have been 8-B into water, but i think it likely would have been 8-D into water, or maybe 8-C. RIP the 456
This was my 224th 456 attempt (but around 10-20 of those are where i just messed up the timer and reset before the game even started), and this was my 5th run to the bullet in 8-2, 3 got coin tossed, and one jumped early. I went for fast accel in third room to try and still get 456, and I wouldn't have gone for DFA (double fast accel) if i would have had a good first fast accel, but first fast accel was kinda sloppy (and during the run at the time i thought it was even worse). Maybe it would have been smarter to not fast accel and just take the PB, but at the time I couldn't think, and all my mind went to was how to save the 456. I dont really regret going for DFA though. not sure if i could have 456'd if i wouldn't have gotten cheeped. Really glad to be making progress this fast. 456 soon.
