Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is an action role-playing game developed by Warhorse Studios and published by Deep Silver. It's the sequel to the 2018 game Kingdom Come: Deliverance and was released on February 4, 2025.
Gameplay
The game is set in 15th century Bohemia and features an open-world environment. Players control the protagonist, Henry of Skalitz, from a first-person perspective. The game emphasizes authentic medieval combat, historical accuracy, and player choice. You can complete missions and objectives in various ways, and your actions will influence how NPCs and communities react to you. The game introduces new elements like crossbows and early forms of firearms, adding more depth to combat.
Storyline
The story picks up directly after the events of the first game. Henry, now a knight, continues his quest to avenge his murdered parents and fight against the invading forces led by Sigismund, King of Hungary and Croatia. The game is set during a civil war in the Kingdom of Bohemia, and Henry must navigate the political and social turmoil to restore peace. The game world is twice as large as the first game, featuring two main areas: the Bohemian Paradise and the city of Kutná Hora.
