On the days leading up to New Yearโ€™s Eve, you can try to accustom your dog to firework noises and help to make them less of a shock in several ways:

๐ŸŽ‡ Buy plug-in adaptors that release pheromones that can help relax your dog. Plug it in a few days before New Year's Eve to allow the pheromones to spread around the house.

๐ŸŽ‡ Check with neighbours if they're planning an event with fireworks. If lots of fireworks are expected nearby you may want to see if a friend or relative would like a four-legged visitor for the night.
