Backstory:
Firewish's mother is from Skyclan, and her father is from Thunderclan. She became a medicine cat apprentice in Skyclan, but after her mother was killed in a fox attack, she moved to Thunderclan and started training as a warrior so she wouldn't feel so helpless in battle. She's a very skilled fighter, and her pelt blends into the autumn leaves. Her Skyclan mother taught her to climb, so Firewish is known for her climbing skills and jumping abilities. She's even better at climbing than Skyclans most skilled warriors. Not the greatest hunter, though. Her apprentice is almost as good as her. She prefers to go on patrols, but likes following from the trees. Nobody's ever been able to jump higher, or stay in the trees longer than Firewish. She can even stay in the trees while she's asleep.
She thinks she's the best climber in the forest, but this changes when she meets Ghost, a street cat. He may not be able to climb trees, but he can jump across buildings, further than Firewish could ever hope to jump. She thinks she can trust him, but there's something strange about him. Maybe it's the purple collar he wears, the one with dog teeth sticking out of it. Or maybe it's the eyes that glow in the alleyways as he walks past. Or maybe it's the fact that every kittypet and stray that sees Ghost seems to know him? Fear him? Or maybe it's that name all the kittypets keep saying around Ghost. What was it? Scourge? It sounds familiar, but she can't remember why. Maybe it's from a story the elders told her? Maybe it has something to do with the legendary Firestar, who she was named after.
