Join Art Director, Stephen Lambert (he/him) during this magical fireside by Wētā Workshop.
Since his first taste of crayons, Steve Lambert has had an insatiable appetite for drawing equipment. Sometimes some of it actually makes it onto a page in something resembling art. This is a good thing, as it has enabled him to keep his job at Wētā Workshop for 20 years (although he swears he's not that old). Sometimes they even let him do things with computers, which taste less delicious but make some pretty good art, nonetheless. Some of the stuff that he's shaken out of the keyboard over the years has included: animation for TV, concept design and film props for projects like Avatar and The Hobbit, Mixed Reality adventures with Magic leap and Dr Grordborts, and even some sculptures - which explains why the keys don’t work very well anymore!
