Hunter and Chase were born in Japan to a neglecting father who never wanted children. Once the mother died, the father showed his true colors. Hunter took the opportunity to leave his neglectful father and find a new home. It turns out it would be more complicated than Hunter thought.
Once Hunter and Chase made it to another region (by 2014), they spent 6 years in the wild until moving farther east, finding new homes, and avoiding any Pokemon trainers amid the rise of the Fire Team terrorist organization/paramilitary cult. By 2020, having railroads, they finally found a trainer they could trust. But unfortunately, by the near end of the summer, tragedy struck.
