This video is to explain Thunder's backstory.

Synopsis:
Kasper was born Kasper Russel-Poplar in an American Region to Clementine Russel and an unknown father. Clementine marries a professor, Alcatraz Poplar and Kasper's interest in Pokemon starts to become apparent. So apparent that Alcatraz gives him a Pokeball for Christmas. Kasper, overconfident, left home to find some but got lost in the snow. He finds a man named Gabe Alphonse, who decides to take him over to his home, and give Kasper the Pokemon he found. Unbeknownst to Kasper, Alphonse longed to kill people like Kasper, his family, and other children finding Pokemon. Once Kasper entered Alphonse's basement, he was shot.

Gabe Alphonse dumped his body in a lake, but Kasper's soul morphed into a Gengar and he wandered around town lost. He looked around, eventually finding Gabe Alphonse attending a meeting with a cult that night. Kasper followed Alphonse, haunted the building, and flooded the room in hopes to drown everybody, but only a fraction of the cult died.

When Kasper's death makes the news, he finds out that the cult is plotting to end Pokemon life in the region and will do anything to make it happen. Kasper goes on a suicide mission to follow Alphonse, Baker, Kelly, and other cultists and haunt them further.

As the war progresses, he comforts the prisoners of war, families, and friends of those affected by it, and of course his stepfather and best friend, Marcus Dustin. He notably talks to one FIRE Team soldier, Heathcliff Lockwood, who digs up graves every month. When he finds out Marcus died, Kasper was able to save his soul and help him reincarnate as a Marshadow.

By the end of the war, Marcus and Kasper set out to find more secrets of the war. When they did, they found children who grew up in the war attend a school by former mercenaries and soldiers in the GRASS Team. Kasper meets a handful of students, including the general's son, Jack, and the missing Charmander, Chase. However, in the next years, things took a dramatic turn as one of the cult members came back trying to finish their destiny.
