Usually, Mullein pith ignites easily in cotton when fire rolled, but my pith was damp and my top and bottom boards were soaking wet. This time, it took 4 tries to finally get the ignition. Make sure you learn from my mistakes to improve your fire roll skills:
1) Always work with the driest possible fillers.
2) Always break your fillers down into dust or as small as possible.
3) Vertical fire rolling is a good option when nothing horizontal is available, except when using difficult materials.
