HISTORY ON THE CHARACTERS (this is solely based off of wiki etc.. and not necessarily accurate info).
#1 - S T R I D E R
Strider is the mate of Esperanza, beforehand her playmate when she was still a filly. He never makes an appearance in the movie, but is Spirit's father. Strider's coat is black with no markings. He has dark brown hooves and milky brown eyes, like Spirit and Esperanza, he is fierce and very protective of the herd, as well as responsible.
#2 - U R U
Uru is the first named queen of the Pride Lands. Her succession right was either through marriage to Ahadi, who would be King Mohatu's son, or hereditary, with her being the king's daughter. Uru is dauntless and dutiful, willing to separate from her family in order to save her subjects.
#3 - B A L T O ' S F A T H E R
A male husky (Balto's father) ran off with his mother Aniu. It is also unknown how she met Balto's father, though it is known that he was a domestic Siberian Husky, when Balto was a small pup he was abandoned by his father and mother, who were forced out of town, to be raised by Boris.
#4 - N I T T I
Nitti is Balto's sister, steele's father threatend her father to leave town and that he would kill balto and nitti therefore they left the pups alone. Nitti heard what steele's dad said so she ran away and never returned fearing that she would be killed.
#5 - N A L A ' S F A T H E R
As a cub, Nala's father fell from a tree, but he was saved by the Lion Guard of his day. Some years after this incident, he mated with a lioness named Sarafina and had a daughter with her named Nala. At some point shortly after Nala's birth (and possibly Mheetu's, who may be his son or another wandering lion's) , her father either died or left Pride Rock, thus leaving Sarafina as Nala's only parent.
#6 - M H E E T U
Mheetu is shown to be gullible and innocent as well as playful. It is also noted that Mheetu is constantly getting into trouble. Due to some unknown jealously, Scar disliked Mheetu immensely, which caused friction.
#7 - N E T T L A
During the winter, Bambi meets Nettla, an old doe who no longer bears young, and two princes Ronno and Karus. Mid-winter, hunters enter the forest, killing many animals including Bambi's mother, then Bambi was cared for by Nettla, and when he got his first set of antlers he was abused and harassed by the other males.
