André-François Bourbeau.
Guinness World Record holder for voluntary survival. Author of
Wilderness Secrets Revealed: Adventures of a Survivor, and also author of The Surviethon : his 31 days of voluntary wilderness survival in the boreal forest.

In his Surviethon's book, André has listed a few fire making exercise to sharpen up your skills. This is the first one of the series.

The rules! lol

1-Make a sustainable fire last more than 2 minutes without intervention.
2-Only use gathered items from the forest
3-You only have 3 paper matches (if you can find em)
4-You are not allowed to use any birch bark
5-You can use your cutting tools
