Arth | Fire Emblem Heroes - Greil Mercenaries vs. Julius (Infernal) @arthogonal | Uploaded May 2018 | Updated October 2024, 12 hours ago.
Please read the full description. This is part of a thematic series of Fire Emblem Heroes videos featuring the core Greil Mercenaries: Ike, Soren, Titania, and Oscar.
The goal is to clear the map with only the bare minimum of skills with my merge levels and natures. This is reflected in the SP totals of each character's equipped skills. By using a minimal skill set, one is able to account more robustly for variability in stats (again, through merges and/or natures) and supports in replicating the strategy. Furthermore, this encourages experimentation with different or less common skills in the future.
This team is highly F2P-friendly because Ike is free and the others are available at 3*/4*. My long-term goal is to +10 the other three.
Summary of the battle:
Turns 1 and 2
Soren kills the blue mage and gets repositioned back by Ike. Oscar kills the sword fighter and gets repositioned back by Titania, who takes a hit from the axe fighter and charges Iceberg.
Turn 3
Oscar kills the red mage. Titania kills the thief with Iceberg. Soren kills the axe fighter, allowing Ike to reposition Titania back to safety. Oscar takes a hit from the cleric.
Turn 4
Everyone retreats except for Ike, who baits the cleric.
Turn 5
Ike recovers his lost HP, which is important. He baits Julius while Oscar baits the second sword fighter and charges Dragon Fang.
Turn 6
Oscar takes out the bow fighter with Dragon Fang. Titania kills the green mage. Ike repositions Soren, who exchanges with the second blue mage. Note that the cleric would deal 7 damage to Ike, which is why he needed to recover his HP on the previous turn. Oscar takes a hit from the blue mage and survives due to his Resistance +1 seal.
Turns 7 and 8
With Iceberg charged, Soren can kill the lance knight with support from Ike. Titania eliminates the blue mage. She takes a hit from the cleric with everyone else out of range, then mops up on the next turn.
Note that the standard Warding Breath + Radiant Aether is perfectly fine on Ike, but costs more SP than Warding Stance 2 + Renewal 1, which effectively does the same thing.
