Talk to him with Nino for a scene and to get him to move off his throne. His Light Brand can attack from a distance, but he is unable to crit when he does so. Attack him with units that are fast and accurate, and he shouldn't be much of an issue. Don't worry about Nino, he'll never attack her. If you fought Lloyd earlier in the game, you will fight Linus here instead. Unlike his brother, Linus will not move off the throne, and will attack Nino if given the chance.
