How can past exhibitions be revived through digital and spatial modeling? At the finissage of the exhibition »Matter. Non-Matter. Anti-Matter«, presentations and a lecture performance will be shown via livestream.

The EU project »Beyond Matter. Cultural Heritage on the Verge of Virtual Reality« makes past exhibitions virtually experienceable and creates a basis for new technologies and accesses in the museum. The outcome are online exhibitions, lectures, workshops, a publication and an »immaterial display« for the exhibition space. Spatial ideas are questioned, current exhibitions are digitized and translated into VR, and links between works and institutions are created. As a pioneering project for museums and cultural institutions in the digital age, Beyond Matter explores in many ways which strategies can be used to present and experience our cultural heritage in the future.
