Dust Free Finishing Enclosure Pt 2

Don't stop woodworking just because you are waiting for a finish to dry! This portable, lightweight, knockdown, easy-to-set-up, easy-to-build, and inexpensive "Finishing Enclosure" is just what you need!

In Part 2 see how to quickly and easily build the fixed panels, the hinged panels, and finish up some work on the legs... an inexpensive and quick-to-make tenon is ripped from 1 X 2 stock and attached to each panel so that future set-up and knockdown of the enclosure is fast and simple.

This three-part video goes through the entire construction process. (Part three will be released during the first week of December.) The complete cut-list, hardware list, and additional instructions will be available in the Highland Woodworking Wood News Online December 2014 issue.

Tools used: Miter saw, table saw (combination blade and dado stack), jointer, planer, drill, finish nailer, stapler, and block plane. Three simple shop-made jigs assure perfect parts alignment. Best of all, you get to use up some plywood scraps!

This finishing enclosure will allow you to keep on making sawdust while applying the finish to your last project... a real time-saver!
