I finally managed to write The End on my 1st draft of This Book is for October! There is still a long way to go before I am ready to give the book to my sister but it feels so good to be moving away from the pure drafting stage, to the editing stage.
Also, a crazy thought I had but didn't manage to get on film for the vlog: TBIFO is officially the second full book I have ever written. I have lots of other stories with outlines and partial first drafts but TBIFO gets the silver since I have officially written 'The End' on it. Even though it's a sillier story it's nice to know that I'm capable of writing more than one book. (Especially considering the love/hate relationship I have with Project EC.)
Despite the fact that I was almost a month late, and despite the fact that I likely won't be giving this story to my sister until NEXT October, I am so relieved to be done with the first draft and in general am really happy with the story I have told. There is a lot to do in the editing stage. But I can't wait!!
