In this video, I will show you how I built an ESP32 Fingerprint Voting Machine with a Live Web Dashboard. This is a biometric voting system that can register voters, scan fingerprints, record votes, and display live voting results directly on a web dashboard.
For this project, I used an ESP32 development board as the main controller, an R503 fingerprint sensor for biometric voter authentication, and a 0.96-inch OLED display to show system messages, fingerprint status, voter name, vote status, candidate selection, and registration progress.
The ESP32 connects to Wi-Fi and hosts a local web dashboard, so we can open the voting dashboard from any browser using the ESP32 IP address. No external server is required. The dashboard includes sections such as Dashboard, Enroll Voter, Live Results, and Voter Management. It can show real-time fingerprint activity, live vote count, voter status, latest events, and complete voting logs in a clean and professional interface.
This project is useful for learning about ESP32 web server, fingerprint authentication, OLED display, real-time dashboard design, and biometric voting system development. The vote data can also be exported as a CSV file and opened later in Excel or Google Sheets.
