Here is a performance video using the Soma Laboratory Enner instrument, designed by Sistor. My goal for this was to incorporate more finger drumming while using the synth part of the Enner to create screams. I've added some annotations to try to give you an idea of what I'm thinking while I'm doing these improvisations. This synth is patched using touch, and I love the idea of having an instrument that I can use my hands on to create sound and have a direct connection to the music. I am using the west coast technique of starting with something and spinning it out like a centrifuge. I'm processing the sound through an Eventide H9 pedal with some reverb and a Boss RC-5 looper pedal. Hopefully this camera angle also helps you learn something!
