Happy October! I'm not really a fineP or YuzuruP but this song took over my brain
Instruments are bandoneon, steel guitar (duplicated track with DX7 electric piano), piano, and slap bass. The chorus and other parts are really great, but it was super fun to freestyle the guitar in the instrumental break, and then change the time to 6/8 in the bridge with some tempo changes. It's kind of weird but I wanted to try it and ended up running with it help.

My version of one my favorite tracks from the Zexal OST, with whistle, organ, piano, and percussion parts! It notably plays in scenes where Kaito makes a comeback and/or summons neo galaxy-eyes :)
I was nervous that I wouldnt do the song justice because its hard to make long notes sound good with the soundfonts, also the original has so much energy, I was afraid of being lame in comparison, and tbh it did sound lame at first. But adding the whistle and organ (both of which reference/pay tribute to him hehe) really got the ball rolling and I ended up having so much fun with this! I hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!
Aside from obligatorily liking this track as a Kaito enjoyer™ the piece is actually objectively so neat? My favorite things are the call and response in the beginning between the aggressive treble and the bass line, the persistent repetition in the bass line; the fake 3/4 time at 0:39 which sounds really erratic and uneasy; that fake 3/4 also foreshadows the change to real 3/4 time at 1:16, which has the effect of extra speed and urgency leading to the end .. in that same part not only is the beat dynamic, but also the harmonies/chords: the way the chord progression gradually builds as it repeats, (extra tension points in the way there IS a chord progression after the majority of the song is mostly strictly built off of E minor,) also the first and second chords of the 4 chord phrase being in minor vs the third and fourth being unexpectedly in major is super interesting. The major chords are a hint uplifting/hopeful but at the same time make even more tension because of the way its just Not part of the base key and I think thats neat.... none of that probably made any sense and sorry to ramble, just know this song is really good so zexal music lovers stay winning :)

before christmas i came across the other groups music and thought it was interesting and as i dug into aoppella i found the short 5-man version of the New Cool groups only song and really liked it.... you have no idea how hard i waited for the full version and now that its out you could say i was bewitched by the lips

so i started liking enstars sorry... arranged kiss of life because alkaloid is one of my favorite units, this is just such their song and goes so hard. sou sa we are holic star standing on the edge, so true you funky little underachievers.

A long time ago I was sad and made the intro and now I decided to complete it yay! Im super happy with it, and I had the most fun with the last chorus and instrumental break! The improvisations I came up with for those parts came super easily because of how much space this song takes up in my brain its also been my game bgm for a hot minute now. And ofc unfortunately no notes on a score could compare to the way they say are you ready for eccentric party/eccentric party night but I think i did my best
Ive always loved Eccentric Party Night so much for how simultaneously uplifting and sentimental it is.... the way this song encapsulates them celebrating being themselves even in death ahhhh. And on that note yoooo the element anime, from that short snippet in the teaser alone I love the vibe change from celebrating their death - celebrating their life/career as oddballs :) cant wait to inject the full song into my veins when it comes out
