We do two projects today – trying out the easiest way yet to use a junk mail window envelope for a pocket, and going through a stack of craft magazines my friend was going to toss out. I got some practice in saving stuff I’ll actually use and resisting the rest – a good lesson!

It's funny, I know I rejected some of the magazine images that would normally fall into the whimsical category, and I do love whimsy - but maybe I just prefer the whimsy that I make from scratch! Who knows, right?
