Join Dorothy and her friends on an inspiring new journey in Finding Stories of Wonder in The Land of Oz!
In this student-made animated feature, we follow Dorothy, a middle school student overwhelmed by increasing school pressures, who finds herself transported back to the Land of Oz. With the help of some familiar Ozian friends, she learns about solutions to challenges that hit close to home—climate change, pollution, deforestation, and more.
As they travel through Oz, Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lioness encounter communities in crisis and ecosystems in danger. Along the way, they ask questions, learn from those they meet, and realize that every action—big or small—has the power to shape their future and the way that Dorothy feels about the challenges back home.
Made by students, for students, this film is a creative call to action that shows how teamwork, compassion, and innovation can overcome even the biggest problems. With colorful animation, heartwarming moments, and a message of hope, it reminds us that when we stay curious and collaborate, there's no challenge too great to tackle. When it comes to protecting our planet, there's no place like home.
