As a member of TheNovaLeague I am contractually obligated to find at least one shiny or they'll evict me. Not really - it's just seems fun to participate in shiny races and I've got to practice with my first shiny hunt. Nacli, Naclstack, and Gargancl have been fun to use in my first playthrough of scarlet so far, so I thought it would be neat first hunt.

I failed to see that I would fail to see this subtle shiny... oops...
