Michael Matthews set out for the summit of Everest May 12th, 1999 never to return. While descending from the summit of Mount Everest they were caught in a whiteout but controversy still surrounds what really happened that tragic day. This is his story and the story of survival from those who were there.

Mike is loved by many and greatly missed -- his legacy continues today.
