In this video I give you an acronym to use as a guide or checklist for bringing your character, scene or story to completion in a few short steps. When you implement these things into your story and in the right place and time, you will have G.R.A.C.E. in every aspect. These are basic story elements to use when writing to make sure your story will have flow and purpose in moving the plot along and ultimately bringing your story to a close. Using these simple words to expand upon and utilize for story structure, making sure you are hitting every beat and bringing the reader along for the ride!
So, be sure to remember this acronym when writing a story so it will have G.R.A.C.E. ( and you will be successful in telling the story you set out to tell)
G=Goal- what is your character after
R=Reason behind the goal (Motivation)
A=Active role or agency in moving the plot forward
C=Character development and growth through the conflict and character arc
E=Emotion. evoking in your character and immersing your reader into the story
Hope this helps!
