Felix & Marzia finally got married. The PewDiePie channel finally reached 100 million subscribers. The list goes on and on, and it's just amazing!
I wrote out a big ol' message on Twitter when Felix hit 100 mill, and as it expresses all my feelings about it, I feel like sharing it here too:
"I’ve just woken up briefly to see that Felix has finally reached 100 million subscribers!
I first subbed to him on my old channel when he was roughly at 800k. He was dorky, hilarious, genuine, and a gamer - nothing like I’d ever seen before on the platform...
His humour & community got me through times of absolute hell. Whenever I was at my lowest, he was there to pick me up. I thought about what his next video would be & how I couldn’t wait to watch it when I got home. I introduced him to my family, and they loved him too...
And through him, I discovered that more people were starting to game & have fun too! This opened the doors for me to discover people like Game Grumps next, then Cinnamontoastken, Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, VanossGaming... the list goes on!
Each one of them has inspired me & sparked pure joy within and around me. And to put simply; I would not be where I am, what I’m doing, and this happy... without Felix.
I’m so proud of him. I’m so grateful to him. I’m so happy he’s achieved so many wonderful things. He honestly feels like family at this point, and I’m starting to get emotional just typing this out now.
Congratulations PewDiePie! Thank you for everything. You deserve all the great things that have happened & continue to happen in your life. And long may you continue making videos!
