I rarely give myself the opportunity to upgrade my own personal setups, but it was finally time to overhaul my gaming and tinkering rig. In this video, I’m moving my high-end gaming PC (featuring the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5090) into the Silverstone RM32 rackmount case to save some precious space in the studio rack.
But the real star of the show is the new TESmart DKS402-M24. It’s a dual-monitor DisplayPort KVM that actually handles 4K 240Hz, allowing me to switch between my gaming PC, Linux tinkering machine, and Mac Mini with a single remote. I'll walk you through the build process, the KVM setup, and some important technical limitations you need to know about USB hub chains when using a setup like this.
