I started learning this level back in 2023, back when I had no idea about how ships really work and just like every level I play. I dropped it. I came back to it in 2024 with a better mindset and it was probably not a good idea to even pick this abomination of a level up again. The first 2 days were actually not too bad to say the very least as it was gonna take some time to gain consistency back again, specially from not playing it in about a year from around last month (October 2024) I didn’t expect the level to be any good and I may have underestimated how bad this level would be to me. The level started hitting a downwards decline around day 4 where I started getting annoyed at the predrop being WAY harder than everything else in the level. That was only the beginning of my problems. Around day 6 was when I got to the 60s for the first time after not having made any significant progress besides 47 for around a YEAR. I followed up that 68% with another 68% fail that day and that started to make a trend for this level. You’ll die to the same shit OVER AND OVA AND OVA. Then GD got an update around day 13 of playing gustavo fring. Gonna skip a couple days cause nothing really happened besides getting 83 and me saying the hard r in frustration, and getting 85 that day as well which was the start of a huge mind block. I didn’t know how to fix geode as it has and still hasn’t gotten a new update ready for gd 2.207. So I played on the 2.1 gdps and that's when the level started becoming IMPOSSIBLE. The next 4 days I just never got past the wave AT ALL cause the physics sucked HOT ASS on the 2.1 GDPS. I then got megahack v8 and switched back to the regular gd and I still have YET to get to the drop. The robot was the biggest mind block for me and even relearning it got impossible cause it wouldn't translate over to regular mode. It took approximately 7 MORE DAYS just to get to the drop again and when I did I was at the angriest point of GD I HAVE EVER BEEN. The 2nd to last day (MY MOST CONSISTENT DAY) I got to 83,80x3, and numerous 75 fails. In that session I also managed to cut my hand open from punching something in my bathroom from rage, I gave myself a bloody Nose from how angry I got/yelled, and I went psycho mode and smashed my head against my keyboard. (May have knocked a few blood cells/brain cells out) Safe to say the last day TODAY was the most unexpected day to beat this on. I only played for about 15 minutes and was just like.” If I don't get anywhere today I’m just gonna play Fortnite with some friends and forget about this level till next friday.” Safe to say I didn’t have to wait till next Friday because a couple attempts later The gods were on my side and let me beat Gustavo fring.
Gustavo fring was by far my most mentally draining experience I have ever dealt with in GD, WAY MORE RAGES THAN SONIC WAVE. Every part in Gustavo fring was just lackluster, inconsistent, and just unbalanced. The wave was literally half your attempts that you’ll die to either from 20%, or 22%. The drop was so ASS cause even with the amount of practice I put in the level THAT PART WAS JUST NOT CONSISTENT. And I believe I died at 50-60 a cool 50-60 times (Can’t give an estimate since Geode is still down) the 70-100 part was as hard as it was easy and I didnt believe I would struggle that bad with it but I had around 9-12 deaths around that section cause nerve control, wasn't on my side. I vowed if I died past 89 I was gonna drop this DUMBASS LEVEL.
