In this part, we setup our final four Materia that we'll use through the rest of the game, and then defeat the Super Boss, Minerva.
0:00 - Final Materia Setup and Creation
9:47 - Minerva (Super Boss)
Collectibles:
1. Mission #186 of 300 (9-6-6 The Reigning Deity) - 9:47
Additional Info
- I'll list the Materia process here just like I did in the video, in a step-by-step order.
1. Start by going to Mission 8-6-1 and stealing Lunar Harps from the Mover RE enemies located here. Continue until you have 99 Lunar Harps. Afterwards, finish the Mission to keep the Lunar Harps.
2. Visit the Shop "Research Dept. QMC" and buy a bunch of Libra Materia.
3. Go to Mission 9-5-3 and defeat the Movers here quickly and if possible, with the same attack to gain upwards of 100,000 SP per battle. Continue this until you gather roughly Four Million SP or so. Afterwards, complete the Mission to keep the SP.
4. Begin Materia Fusion by fusing two Libra Materia together with 97 Lunar Harps, doing so will create a Libra Materia with MP +980%.
5. Fuse the Libra Materia MP +980% with a Materia of your choice (Electrocute in my case) as well as one "Trait Material" based on what you're trying to turn the Materia into. For +100 ATK add Hero Drinks, for +100 MAG add Dark Matter, for +100 VIT add Adamantite, and for +100 SPR add Mythril. Make sure your final four Materia each have one of those +100's listed above in order to be strong enough to withstand the Super Boss. You can choose to add less Lunar Harps and more Trait Material if you have the excess supplies. You will need to farm for more Lunar Harps for each Materia unfortunately.
- To defeat Minerva, we'll want to start by either having the Genji Shield equipped or a Wall Materia, as the extra defense is required. If you're using Wall, make sure to reapply it once it wears off, or if Minerva uses Judgement Arrow. Judgement Arrow will also remove out Auto-Life Status, so make sure to reapply it with a Phoenix Down. Otherwise, it's simply a matter of attacking with Costly Punch, High Jump, or whatever you chose to bring in, while maintaining your health with Items, Curaga or Full Cure.
