Square Enix has unveiled a new Final Fantasy XVI trailer at PlayStation State of Play, revealing that the new game is set to release summer 2023. Until now, we hadn't seen much of Final Fantasy XVI since Square Enix revealed it in September 2020. The trailer delivers more teases of the game's story, with protagonist Clive and the gang seemingly caught between nations at war, which is certain to weigh heavy on the young protagonist's shoulders. The game will be available for PlayStation 5 under an assumed exclusivity window similar to Final Fantasy VII Remake.
