MelodyCrystel | Final Fantasy XIV German Dub Aymeric Meets Midgardsormr @MelodyCrystel | Uploaded 5 years ago | Updated 2 hours ago
One of the few diary-scenes I recorded a short while before changing my maincharacter's race / name to Lalafell / Doom Rabbit -- since I tend to be sentimental, I wanted to keep at least a part of Cecilia's ingame-time, though being a pure OC suits her far better.
Anyways, I adore the voice-actors our German version got. It's not only for WHAT they speak, that I like them (being close to Japanese's original context is a huge advantage - especially when the English-version wrote in some way their own story) - it's also for the cast itself that I enjoy listening to the dubbed cutscenes.
But back then in 3.0 I always wondered, why Midgardsormr's voice sounded familiar to me. To make it short for the impatient ones: Old dragon-dad and Aymeric share the same actor, Tino Kießling. I'm not fangirling over the Lord Commander - I'm more of an Estinien-fan - but I must admit he climbed up my favorite-list once I knew my favorite dragon of the game and Mr.-pretty-elf have the same voice.
Hm, if anybody wonders who's not familiar with my fanfic: I uploaded this scene here to YT, because I wanted to give curious readers of Primogenitor an example for what Midgard (and Aymeric) sound like - a la, to which kind of tunes I am used plus have in mind while writing the story.
