This is our review of FFXIII-2. It takes place 3 years after the end of XIII but this time puts you in the shoes of Serah, lightnings sister.

Square Enix took on board a lot of comments from the previous game when making this. Gone is the linear progression down corridors etc, and hello time hopping adventure. It is a lot more open this time around with a lot more freedom of choice of where to go and when.

Oddly, it has a lighter tone feel to the game with the music, the colours and the inclusion of Mog your faithful companion. Yet at the same time, it probably has one of the darker plots on FF games, especially the ending which completely took me by surpirse.
