This is a battle against the Boss Airbuster, on NORMAL MODEL, with a team that has completed the game on all difficulties, which is why it will seem easy.
The general strategy is the same of course, it will just take much longer without the proper weapons, materia & limit breaks.
TIPS:
- Hopefully while you were working your way toward this boss, you were able to dispose of his BB's and AI Cores, as they're much more useful to get rid of than M-units.
- He has a few different phases, the first of which will see your team divided and on either side of him, much like the original.
- Use Lightning based attacks.
- When phase 2 starts, he will move back and all of your party will be able to attack him.
- When his uses his finger lazers, they will stun any character they hit.
- When he shoots out his fists, attack them individually.
- When he starts to glow, get away from him as fast as possible; if you get hit (as I did) it will do massive damage. It's capable of wiping out your entire team.
- Keep hitting him and taking cover on the sides when he uses his giant beam and he will fall.
