The false image toggle timing _is_ consistent (its a variant of what Stalker/Wendigo had), and changes accordingly if speed-altering abilities are used on it. I wonder how quickly you could theoretically defeat it if it didnt have the false toggle.
Unlike GBA, you can tell if its Mighty Guard succeeded (it flashes teal if it does, at which point you reload the quicksave).
Ideally the jumper is at critical health and the defender isnt, but you take what you get.
Placing suggestions here too since most people probably wont read the comments:
As much speed as reasonably possible. Numerical defences dont matter. Everyone has Ribbons. Evasive stuff on whoevers going into the final (physical) phase.
Dragon Lance/Force Shield/Mirage Vest/Elven Mantle on whoevers attacking (I chose Faris because I felt she had the best balance of speed/power and was the highest-leveled)
Masamune/Chicken Knife (or other speed-boosting weapon)/Genji (or Crystal) Shield/Mirage Vest/Hermes Sandals on minimised hider (Krile is naturally fastest)
Dual-wield speed-boosting weapons/Ninja Garb/Hermes Sandals on the others (need to mix buff items on attacker before Neo KOs them)
You can adjust these as needed depending on how cautious you want to be (eg. zombie meat shields against physicals)")

Gilgamesh wont appear in the Rift if you didnt fight him in Exdeaths Castle, which in turn forfeits your chance to steal his Genji Shield here and the Genji Armor on the second-last floor; that Genji Shields 50% evasion (unique to it) almost doubles to 99% (hard cap) when in mini status (mini first, then equip the shield), and this sees use in certain challenges. Even if you dont care for the other Genji equipment, get the shield here.")

Obviously Enkidu wont appear if you defeated him quickly enough. In a LLG, you likely wont need any of the Genji equipment (save for the Genji Shield, which has the highest evasion rate at 50%), but hey, common steal.
I want to say releasing an Aquathorn is more accurate than using a Death Potion in this version (72% vs. an estimated 45%), though I cant confirm at the moment. Regardless, you should save that Dark Matter for later.")
