Delita and Ramza finally catch up to Teta and her captor, only to discover Ramza's brother Zalbag and Algus on the scene as well. Zalbag orders Algus to fire on Teta, coldly I might add. Algus shoots Teta and her captor as well. The Death Corps commander goes down, and slinks off into the fort wounded.

Zalbag then receives word that the dwindling number of Death Corps members have been spotted. He tells Algus to finish the job and quickly leaves. An enraged Delita and an emotionally confused Ramza then confronts Algus, leading to a rather... unfortunate ending.
