This game doesn't technically belong to the main Final Fantasy series, but it's good enough that I'll give it credit whether due or not. Monsters in your party make a game better, as Pokemon proved about 5 years after Final Fantasy Legend II came out in the US. This was my #1 favorite game for several years (it didn't get dethroned until Dance Dance Revolution.)

This is the regular battle theme from FFL II, originally by Nobuo Uematsu and/or Kenji Ito.
