So having completed the biggest move of my life, I knew we needed to keep the music coming and I'm still thinking about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth! Having heard this theme for ages and wanting to do a super expressive leady take, I knew that I could combine the locales of PNW with Final Fantasy VII and create something extra spectacular, yet simple enough to produce! I arranged much of this on my laptop while in the middle of the move, so a lot of the music came out a bit more coordinated than normal!
I think one of the best parts of covering iconic themes from 90s games, is that there is so much space for interpretation! I included some of the key changes and fills you hear in Rebirth iterations of the main theme and tried not to deviate too far! Huge thanks to all your support during this really exciting unpredictable part of my life, and especially those streaming the tunes and Patrons are helping me stay moving! Naturally humongous thanks to my buddy/bandmate/filmographer Colby who rocked the drone and Sony while we hit up the park to try and recreate some grasslands.
