i beat it!!! ive been grinding this for the past couple days and i finally beat it!!! i died 150+ times in the second half of the level but i still found this pretty fun, hopefully it's harder than d on the challenge list :)
thanks to icedcave and telepracity for keeping me going, and good luck to the latter, who is playing this level at the moment! he has gotten to jump 12 and was a major reason for why i ended up beating this level!!!
this level as a whole is extremely nuanced and is much more complicated than just clicking, as dumb as it sounds - 144, 240, and 288fps all play COMPLETELY differently, and each click has to be treated differently. i found the hardest clicks to be 1, 2, 3, 8, and 10, but i know that that changes drastically depending on your fps.

okay so you may notice this video doesnt have any clicks. this is because of some super stupid stuff that happened with shadowplay at some point in the attempt, and my mic defaulted to droidcam for some reason as a result. i do have proof that this is what happened, dm me on discord (paqoe#3588) if you need proof, i still have raw and all that obviously including afterwards when i figured out my mic wasnt working (i was in a call so people realized when my mic was working lol) and corrected it, along with when i realized shadowplay defaulted to droidcam
anyways this level is really easy. IMO it should be below where sonic wave currently is on the list, and its about as hard as rage and hyper paracosm.

I decided to make a small pastebin giving my thoughts on the level, read it here if you want!

I first played this level immediately after it came out, and got 44-100 in a couple hours of playtime. Then, I tried the mini wave and stopped playing after I got 31-78 bc it is So Hard
i decided to come back to the level a couple days ago and Im genuinely shocked with how fast i was able to progress -
Friday: Came back to the level, got 31-79 within about 30 minutes
Saturday: Played a little bit from 19 and learned the whole level, got 19-68% and 37x2
Sunday: Popped the FUCK off, got 67 and 19-83 and 31-100%
Monday: Only played a bit, got new bests of 76 and 79 a couple minutes apart then got a couple more last ship deaths
Tuesday (today): Got ~15 new last ship deaths, no new bests until I beat it. also did 31-100 and got 75% back to back (this is way harder than actually beating the level)
thank you so much: blitzer, vinny, snail nation, squat, dl team, and pros, you guys helped keep me motivated to actually finish an extreme for the first time in 4 months :D

YIPPEE!! Really glad I beat this even if it took much longer than I thought it would. The robot at 35% is the hardest part by far; the rest of the level is super consistent. Good job @LordVadercraft :)

Deimos COMPLETE!!!
Ive never really understood why this level gets so much hate. I love the deco style and it really irons out a lot of the issues present in Phobos, and it plays far better for its difficulty than the original does.
Ive gotten much better at the game recently, but I dont think this really shows it off. It feels like Ive almost forgotten how to beat hard stuff like what runs to do, what mentality to have, etc. All things considered, though, Im glad I beat this :)
