hey y'all!
[it's my first time recording something in a *long time* so pls be nice]
this was just a lil something I wanted to do. this video covers:
- clean chroma keying
- adding a light wrap (lighting your character)
- compound clips
- custom glows
a lot of the ideas behind them could still be applied to other programs (the custom glows in particular). but they're just things I've learned using Final Cut Pro that could help out other mashers!
if there's anything y'all wanna know how to do that isn't covered in this or the other two videos, just let me know. c:

- follow the lyrics and use the correct lyrics
- replacements are always open
- 2 parts per person max
- youll receive three reminders, if you dont respond you will be replaced.
- 16:9 HD only (1080p or 720p)
- extensions are available, just let us know!
- leave 2-3 seconds at the end to allow for smooth transitioning (green screen transitions allowed)
- If you have any questions, just ask!
- not first come first serve. (please dont beg/spam for parts either.)
- deadline will be set once the mep is full. (youll have roughly 3-4 weeks once the MEP is closed)
- to show youve read the rules, include your top 3 parts and your pairing in your comment. (you can change the pairing at any time)
THEME: along the lines of the lyric video (below) and thumbnail. there will be a google drive folder on the discord with resources. wed love to see some cute lil pixelated icons and wed love to see one or two text message elements in your part. other than that, the colouring should be a pink/cyan. (There will be an editing help channel available, in case you get stuck!!)

hey yall!
I rarely upload MEP parts on their own but ngl I was so proud of this one.
This was edited in After Effects, I only used Final Cut to cut and export the original clips from the movie. (still tryna get the hang of that in AE) But I was able to experiment a lil with text, transitioning and blurs. Ill bop a link to the MEP down below because theyre in need of replacements too.
