After a bunch of crashes while using Final Cut Pro on my mac mini m1, I finally got it sorted out thanks to Apple Support.
For what ever reason, recording video from my Logitech C920 with OBS and exporting to Mp4, Final Cut Pro X had a problem.
When I'd try to play the footage in FCPX, it would crash with the infamous beachball. I'd try all kinds of things but it just would always crash. I finally got a hold of Apple tech support and he told me Final Cut Pro does has issues with Logitech recorded videos with OBS. He showed me how to convert those video files to .mov files and it solved all the problems.
This is only a 53 second video but I did a lot of cuts and it ran great with the mov file.
